Above the Barre Dance Academy has a class for everyone -- from the excited two year old, to the school aged child looking for fun, to the competitive high school students, all the way to the busy mom's dance and fitness class. Come on in - we have something for everyone! Our studio is family owned and operated and there is ALWAYS a qualified adult at the desk during classes to answer your questions or address your concerns without having to wait until class is over. Our studio strives for excellence; we have been recognized on many dance education websitesand are proud to be the only studio in the state of Iowa that is certified through Dance and Gym USA Dance Teacher's Certification. Our Mission: We're dedicated to teaching our students not only the best technique in the Quad City Area, but also to teaching our students the benefits of teamwork, dedication, and commitment. Our teaching staff is highly qualified in their areas and committed to improving their art by furthering their knowledge in the dance arena. Scholarship Program: We work with our partners to provide free or discounted opportunities for youths to engage in educational arts opportunities. Through this program, youths who would not otherwise be able to afford the high cost of arts classes and lessons are able to discover the wonders and life-long impact of the arts. Students are carefully selected based on their desire to participate in the arts and their need for assistance.
