We should have noticed the warning signs when ESP Metro Plumbing (Dispatcher Bob) was hesitant to honor an offer that was advertised on their website. However, despite our better judgment we set up a time for them to clean our main sewer line. A week later some guy with multiple facial piercings showed up in front of our house in a run down box truck. He sauntered up to our door and rang the bell (we should have shut the curtains and pretended he wasn't there). He drags his gear into our basement, runs the auger through one time and says "good enough".
