Bruce Smith was the original owner. Thomas Smith started working with his father in the late 1960's while still in school. Back then, all the appointments were in the home. Thomas would drive his Father to all the appointments during the summer and on evenings after school. Thomas went on to college, military and other careers, eventually returning to the hearing aid business with his Father. Thomas & Martha's son, Eric, came onboard in January 2003 and actively serves in all 4 locations. Smith Hearing Aids' Audiologist Dr. Amy Smith has also been with the company for several years now.
