About
The Sandpiper Inn is a Michigan bed and breakfast in Harbor Country only 70 miles from Chicago and 100 miles from Grand Rapids. Come and enjoy the perfect luxurious lakeshore getaway in Union Pier on Lake Michigan. Guests of our inn will experience a relaxing vacation with private beach; verandahs with spectacular views and a full breakfast. Our guestrooms are large and modern appointed with queen-size beds, fireplaces or potbelly stoves, WI-FIs, TVs with VCRs, and Jacuzzis in the bathrooms. This Lake Michigan bed and breakfast is near some of the best antique stores, art galleries, wineries and fine restaurants in Harbor Country. Our staff can easily arrange activities for sports enthusiasts that include hiking, biking, golf, horseback riding, fishing and sailing charters, skeet shooting, snowmobiling, and cross-country skiing. Countryside parks, primeval forests, dune buggy rides, water slides, hang-gliding, parasailing, jet skiing, sailing, salmon fishing, golf courses and much more attract thousands of visitors each year. The Midwest's very own Michiana area was selected as one of the best golf destinations in the world by Golf Digest. Southwest Michigan and Northwest Indiana have plenty of golf courses – over 120 courses. Our bed and breakfast inn, in Union Pier on Lake Michigan, is the perfect venue to host a corporate meeting in beautiful surroundings. Our executive conference room features seating for up to 15. We offer 9 single or 18 double rooms. Our mid week conference rates from October through May for guest rooms and daily conference fee include full breakfast and beverage service. Fax, copy and WI-FI access is provided. We organize catering for lunches and gourmet dinners. The Sandpiper Inn is voted by frequent inn travelers as "Best on the Waterfront throughout North America" for Arrington's Inn Traveler 2006 Book of Lists! It is also as seen in Midwest Living magazine March/April 2004.
