Our mission at Starbucks is to inspire and nurture the human spirit—one person, one cup, and one neighborhood at a time. Company-operated coffee stores purchase and roast high-quality whole bean coffees and sells them along with fresh, rich-brewed, Italian style espresso beverages, a variety of pastries and confections, and coffee-related accessories and equipment. In addition, Starbucks sells whole bean coffees through a specialty sales group and supermarkets. We also produce and sell bottled Frappuccino® coffee drink and a line of premium ice creams through its joint venture partnerships and offer a line of innovative premium teas produced by its wholly owned subsidiary, Tazo Tea Company. Starbucks coffee stores are a haven, a break from the worries outside, a place where you can meet with friends. Every coffee store is a part of the community, and we take our responsibility to be good neighbors seriously. Starbucks is committed to a role of environmental leadership in all facets of our business.
