I adopted my "friend" Sam in January. He was one of 10puppies born in October, 2008 to "Justice". The people who work at the Calumet Humane Society are just wonderful!! They are very thorough and make sure the animals are well cared for. Unfortunatly, Sam had to go to sleep due to a severe illness--at the age of 7 months. I miss him like crazy!! He was a special dog. I visit the Humane Society often--I want to adopt another dog from them soon. I feel very stongly that more people check out these lost and forgotten pets.
