We strongly believe that the greatest degree of oral health care can be obtained only through adequate patient home care with regular, periodic, professional cleaning and recare visits. This way, many problems can be prevented and corrected before they become extensive. Our office has developed a recare system customized for each individual patient's cleaning needs. We look at the symptoms you are experiencing to determine the "type of cleaning" you will need. There are many factors contributing to your symptoms other than just your oral hygiene. Pregnancy, stress, medications, diet, ill fitting crowns and bridges, tobacco, and occlusion are a few of these factors. Your treatment needs can change quickly. We know that a healthy mouth requiring a "regular cleaning" is void of bleeding, swelling, odor, calculus (tartar) and bone loss. Your individual needs will always be discussed.
