I've been a regular at the Lanna Thai Diner (known informally to its many fans as "Max's Place") since shortly after they opened several years ago. It's a tiny gem of a restaurant with an equally small but impeccably fresh and wonderfully prepared menu. Go once and Max, the proprietor, will greet you with his signature smile. Go twice and he'll remember your name and be genuinely glad to see you. Go three times and you'll be hooked on this wonderful place!
