From the Initial Consultation with the Patient Advocate to Routine Follow-Up Appointments with the Prosthetist, TAPC's Program Was Designed to Offer the Highest Quality of Care for the Amputee Patient.TAPC's Offices Were Designed with Patient Comfort As a Top Priority, Boasting Meeting Rooms for Amputee Support Groups, a Workout Room Designed for Future Fitness Classes, Unique Training Stations, & a Coffee Bar with that Starbucks? Atmosphere.We Strive to Meet the Needs of Our Patient: to Always Be Heard; to Address All Clinical/Medical Needs; to Have Their Questions Answered; to Have Their Anxiety Level Reduced; to Address Rehab And/Or Physical Therapy; & to Hear About Becoming An Amputee. Additionally, No Matter How Good Our Prosthetists Are, Nothing Can Take the Place of Talking with a Fellow Amputee, Our Peer Visitor. TAPC's Peer Visitors are Different Ages, Personality, & Gender and are Carefully Matched with Our Patients. The Primary Goal of the Patient Advocate is to Listen.The Patient Advocate Completes a Needs & Expectations Assessment & Acts As a Liaison Between the Patient & Their Prosthetist. Additionally, the Patient Advocate Facilitates Appointments & Meets Other Patient, Medical Needs.We Also Offer Free Transportation to and From Our Facilities for Patients in Need, As Well As Provide Home Visits. While Home Visits Offer Convenience, Many of Our Patients Thrive in An Environment Where TAPC Can Help Integrate Them into the Community by Offering the Free Transportation, Allowing Them to Converse with Other A mputees at Our Many Facilities.We Offer An Extensive Prosthetics Library Catalog with Selections From Over 150 Books, Booklets & Video that Addresses Almost Any Topic of Interest for An Amputee.Our Team of Experienced Prothetist Includes Ben Falls, Robyn Skogman, Tony Korjagin, and Rebecca Guijardo.
