The TMJ consult here was a total waste of time. It's always the same old stuff- moist heat, ibuprofen, moist, cool foods, stress management, etc. You know, all the things that haven't worked for you in the past. The only new suggestion they have to offer is non-insurance covered Botox injections at a min of $500 to upwards of $1,000 PLUS general anesthesia every few months. This is not a real option for the average working person.
