I have been a patient for about 8 months now -- went in with early signs of kidney damage, high cholesterol level, elevated HGA1C, labs just off the chart and obese. Family doctor would not see me -- even after the test results showed early signs of kidney damage. Just sort of blew it off and said we would discuss at next appointment. There was no next appointment with the family doctor. I was referred to this practice by the nurse practioner at my place of employment.
