Moore began a tradition of strength and care in 1932, when J. Herbert Moore and his son, J. Foreman Moore, opened their first chapel. Over the years we have grown with Tulsa, in the number of services we offer, our number of locations, and our level of commitment to serving those in need. Still a family-run operation, Moore Funeral Homes, Inc., maintains a singular purpose: to honor you or your loved one in a supremely dignified manner by providing the most thorough and professional attention possible.

Sometimes the unthinkable happens and a loved on dies unexpectedly. When my friend Olin Lewis was killed March 6, 2010 in a hit and run mororcycle accident, Moore's Southlawn stepped in with warmth and care. After learning of Olin's love of motorcycles and his patriotism, Moore's recruited Last Ride Morotcycle Hearse and the Patriot Veterans Motorcycle Honor Guard for the service. The respectful honor the groups showed Olin was such a comfort to friends and family. Elaine Moore and Moore's Southlawn staff had such heart for the family and friends of Olin.
