On our office wall hangs a picture of our business location taken — we believe — around 1950. In it you can see the huge old oak tree that Big Oak Road (and Big Oak Citgo!) were named for. The tree was long gone when we arrived in 1994, but the stump remains, defying all attempts at removal. The location was formerly operated by Fred Beans, who went on to own many local new car dealerships in the area. Steve Kerrigan ran the location prior to 1994, successfully operating for over 20 years. Our customers are our friends and neighbors. We are a local business, and depend on long-term relationships with our customers. One of the rewards of doing business in the same location for many years is the trust relationship that builds with our customers. This relationship is of great value to us and we protect it carefully.
