Today my husband and I stopped in to Exotic Pets with the intention of buying a new pet dumbo rat. We were absolutely appalled and did not purchase an animal because of the condition of the business. Upon walking in the door, there was an overwhelming smell of feces, the animal cages looked as though they had not been cleaned in quite some time. We walked over to the small pet area and were shocked. The living conditions for the rats, hamsters and guinea pigs were horrible.
