I've lived in the area for over 40 years, and I always take my kids and any visitors to Hovermales. They have the best soft ice cream in the area. My daughter is 27 years old now. I can remember taking her to get ice cream when she was 3 and sitting in the back seat in her car seat with ice cream all over her face and her sun-dress. I just wish they were open year round.
