In 1976, he started Rick’s Auto Body as a part-time business doing total-loss rebuilds, custom painting and restoration work. With a young family to care for and a growing passion for collision work, Rick opened full-time at Rick’s Auto Body in September 1979. The changes in the automobile industry in the early 1980’s presented Rick with many challenges, including adapting to the changing technologies used in collision repair and mastering the computer systems that drastically alter how vehicles work and are repaired. In addressing these challenges, Rick found a real passion for the collision repair business and saw an opportunity to build a business better suited to serving the community’s collision repair needs.  The collision industry proved to be very dynamic, and Rick continued to meet each new challenge by finding solutions that were customer focused. Rick's number one goal has always been to provide customers with a better collision repair experience. The industry continues to change and Rick is responding to those changes. After being in the same location since 1977, Rick built a new facility on West Broadway for you, the customer.
