The first thing my wife and I noticed was the old world Italian atmosphere. This added to the expectation of an enjoyable eating experience. The first thing they bring you is a glass of cold water with lemon, a saucer of herbal olive oil and a loaf of hot, freshly baked bread. Your only problem is trying not to fill up on the olive oil soaked bread to the point that it decreases your appetite. The chianti was a combination of dryness and flavor that was more than just a normal bar chianti. The pasta was cooked to perfection, i.e., not under cooked and the sauces were flavor
