Alcona animal shelter is the most caring shelter around, the people who give so much to the unwanted pets that thay care for on a dailey bases. The volenters there are so giving of themselfs. Thay are a non-profit org. and what a wonderful place that shelter is , I adopted a dog from ther 21/2 years ago, she was an older dog who lost her elderly family and the kids just droper her off , she was a little over 10. She is part chow and part retriver and what sweetheart she is . Cinnimon is now 12 1/2 and so loving dont know what we would do with out her but the shelter
