About

Portledge is an independent, college-preparatory, pre-nursery through grade 12 school nearly 400 students and 80 faculty on a pastoral 60-acre campus. A Portledge education features small class sizes and challenging academics that prepare students for success at highly selective colleges and universities. Competitive athletics, expansive art programs (including visual, music and theatre), and experiential education are all intrinsic parts of the Portledge education. Portledge is an inclusive community that inspires students to realize their individual potential. Our Early Childhood program offers the world-renowned Reggio Emilia approach to learning which focuses on the development of the whole child. We also now offer “Adventures with Mommy & Me” for children ages 12-24 months.
