I took in 3 different cars for a smog check. I was quoted $38 on the phone for the 1st one and was charged $97 even though it passed smog. I was told on the second car that it did not pass even though it had just been repaired. They charged $250 to do what had already been done on the car plus the smog report which I had been quoted would be discounted since they overcharged on the first vehicle. Three weeks later I took in another car that had just passed smog when I purchased it and had only been driven 50 miles. They said it would not pass as it needed a new hose
