In fairness, they haven't damaged anything of mine before, but I don't buy "dry-clean only" items that often. This time, they ruined a sweater they had cleaned before. All the sewn on pearls were gone except for 3 large ones, which were stripped of their shine. The owner explained that maybe they had handwashed it last time, but, sorry, can't do anything about it this time. They didn't even refund the cleaning fee, so I paid to have a favorite sweater ruined. They also "cleaned" an expensive comforter that I just opened up this morning.
