As an addendum to my note about this guy: I was there when his wife directly asked him about the rust. His response: "oh that's no problem"' He was asked if it would pass inspection; he said "yeah" He even remarked that a "brand new clutch" was put in which then failed? If he did anything, it was probably a salvage clutch which every mechanic told me to avoid. Furthermore, he has a lift and does extensive body work.
