Welcome to New Horizon United Methodist Church! We’re a friendly, loving, hands-on church in Champaign, Illinois. If you’re looking for a good local church, we think you’ll like us because we’re open-minded and teach about the Bible in a way that’s relevant to daily life. Given that there are many different messages out there about what it means to be a Christian, we’d like to tell you what it means to us at New Horizon. At New Horizon, being a Christian means belonging to a loving community as we see fulfilled the promise of a life-changing relationship with Jesus Christ. It means we value authenticity and teach Christian principals through authentic, real-life examples. And last but not least, it means we take a hands-on approach to our commitment to serving our own community and the world at large. To that end we mobilize teams of followers to lead by example as they spread the news about Christ’s love.
