I called Alert Lanes to verify open bowling and asked what the rates were, I was told $8.00/hour. When we got there we got a lane and began to bowl. After an hour we went to pay and was told that unless we specified bowl by the hour we had to pay per game. This ended up being an additional $8.00. Being laid off we get very little outside entertainment so paying the extra money certainly hurts in a number of waays. Not being told our bowling options seems to me to be a classic bait and switch. Anyone I can tell to bowl at alternate bowling alleys I am going to.
