The school will provide preschool children ages newborn to 4 yrs. old a dual language education. Parents choose which language they would like their children to learn along with English. Bambini Dual Language Preschool will have two teachers in each classroom, a native speaker of either Spanish, Mandarin, or Korean and a native English speaker. The language and literacy component will be divided in half days where the instruction is in the target language one half of the day, and then in English the other half of the day. Literacy, language and technology are the focus of the curriculum and will be developed around themes using math, literacy, art, phonics, music, blocks, creativity, language, computers, science, sensory and physical development centers. Children need a balance of child-initiated and teacher-facilitated activities each day. Bambini Dual Language School believes that we have the most advanced cutting edge philosophy and vision for the future of education in the United States. We believe that families will be surprised and delighted when they observe their children becoming fully bilingual academically in both languages and able to discuss higher order concepts in both languages. We envision our school as being a model for other schools in the evolution of future educational institutions in the 21st century, nurturing students to be global citizens and able to fully compete in the new global economy.
