This local store is a GEM and probably the last of it's kind in Queens. They carry the most beautiful yarns and hand painted needlepoint canvases. Having the mechandise is really secondary to the marvelous staff who are thrilled to teach novices how to knit and crochet. I wanted to make a baby blanket and went to the store to buy yarn. They provided the easiest pattern and taught me how to do it. Every time I made a mistake I went back and they ripped it out and fixed it! Then they had me sit there and continue with the knitting until they were confident that I could d
