Comstock Air Conditioning was founded in 1985 by Lynn Comstock. Lynn started working in the air conditioning field as a teenager but then decided to take some time away to earn a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics in 1960. Soon after he returned to Yuma and resumed his work as an air conditioning mechanic. From 1960 -1972 Lynn was a technician for Quick Refrigeration. Then in 1972, he and Milt Euhus went into business as L&M Refrigeration. In 1974, Milt left to start Tri-Sun Refrigeration and Lynn returned Quick Refrigeration but this time as one of the owners. In 1980, he sold his interest in Quick, moving to Massachusetts where he worked as a Senior Scientist until 1983, it was then that he returned to Yuma. For the next year or so, he was involved in different endeavors, including selling for Polar Air Conditioning. He then decided to start Comstock Air Conditioning in April of 1985.
