Rubaiyat is a relatively new offering in Decorah. They have a great location on Water Street, nice atmosphere, and an inventive menu. They are trying to compete with La Rana Bistro (which is undoubtably the best food in town) by offering great flavors at similar prices with much larger portions and a more upscale attitude. My only problem with Rubaiyat is that while the ideas about flavors are great, the execution often falls short.
