As a residential designer, I've used Sound Structural Solutions on a number of projects in the Seattle area and have found them to be responsive and creative with their design solutions. I worked on a project in which the homeowner was quite interested in the structural engineering for his new home and I observed Ron Skinner to be helpful in explaining the design concepts and design options for the structural engineering. I've found them to be quite competent and creative in their solutions. Their designs are "builder friendly" and the do a great job.
