Vellum opened its doors in May 2002, with a goal of making shopping for invitations and stationery fun and affordable. Vellum's three owners, Kerri Williamson, Julie Redmond and Kippin Sanchez, draw on their backgrounds to create a unique place with unique products. Kerri Williamson's experience as a telecommunications marketing manager at NuVox Communications and a regional customer relations manager at AT&T. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. Julie Schreiber has worked in marketing at the Spark Agency, traveling the country for Motorola on the NFL tour. She is a graduate of Indiana University with a degree in journalism. Kippin Sanchez, a journalist by trade, has written for WebMD, the Los Angeles Times, and the Dallas Morning News, and received her Masters in Journalism from Northwestern University in Chicago.
