After having Ivey-Selkirk auction a very expensive painting ( $30,000) we have still not been paid from Ivey-Selkirk. Our contract was to be paid within 45 days after sale. Ivey-Selkirk didn't even bother to call and let us know there was a problem with getting paid. It was only after we initiated contact several weeks later, were we told they they didn't have our money, things were tight/squeezed with money. We were promised our check within two weeks..Still nothing. They may just sell YOUR artwork and use the proceeds to fund THEIR business, leaving
