Mid-Island Driving School Inc. is Long Islands Premier Driving School, we opened our doors in May of 2001 with two employees. Since then we have surpassed driving schools that have been in business for 50+ years due to our innovative methodical teaching practices and superior customer service. We now have 22 employees and we service the largest drivers education programs in Suffolk County Long Island. All of our instructors are NYSDMV Certified with Background Checks from NYS Board of Education. Several are retired from Law Enforcement, Social Services, or Educational Services Industries. We have trained and educated over 16,000+ new drivers year to date. We take pride in the services we offer which include Private Driving Lessons, Road Test Preparation, 5 Hour Pre-Licensing Course, 6 Hour Defensive Driving Course, and the Driver Education programs we service. This school stunk forget about lane changes. All they do is teach parallel parking. They drive around the same area all the time. Driving in quiet residential streets is easy. you need to go to main streets and highways. Lazy instructors
