It's been open about three and a half years, and the first good impression is the smell of burning wood when you get out of your car. The barbecue is made low and slow and they have the basic variety: pulled pork, pork ribs, beef brisket, and chicken. They also have wonderful, seasonal Louisiana specialties, like soft-shell crab sandwiches, and fresh shrimp when available.
