From her headquarters in the West Chelsea arts district, New York-based designer Amy Lau brings imagination and energy to furnishings, fabrics, and installations.   I nspired by her passion for Nature and abstract art, she combines expressive color with soft, organic shapes. Her love of form is reflected in the work, which balances scale, texture, and function. The finished product is always original and personalized, filtering a variety of influences through the lens of modernism.   Amy Lau Design creates refined, elegant, and optimistic spaces that are more curated than decorated. Since its inception in 2001, the design studio has attracted prestigious residential and commercial clients like Elvis Costello and Elie Tahari. In recent years, New York magazine included Amy Lau as one of “The Next Garde,” and House Beautiful named her a young designer to watch.
