LiteForm Technologies in South Sioux City was founded by Pat Boeshart, a professional contractor specializing in custom home construction. After a successful introduction to ICF (Insulating Concrete Form) construction in the 1980s, Boeshart invented and patented the components for the LiteForm concrete forming system. He organized the Lite-Form corporation in 1986 and began marketing the system with the aid of a developmental grant from the U.S. Dept. of Energy. Today, LiteForm Technologies, the world leader in ICF (Insulated Concrete Form) construction technology, provides superior alternatives to build sustainable, environmentally conscious concrete structures. Because of LiteForm Technologies' versatility and speed of construction, their ICF systems offer construction options in any climate. LiteForm ICFs can be used in virtually all buildings, worldwide. Among their product offerings are LiteForm, FlexxBlock, FoldForm Maxx, LiteDeck, LiteDeck Tilt, High Density Rigid EPS Insulation and LiteBoard.
