My two girls, ages 13 and 12, have attended since second grade. This is a traditional karate school that does not hand out belts based on time attended. It is slow, thorough, and skill-based. The instructor/child ratio is low; and the instructors care about the whole child and are great role models. Children are required to bring in their report cards and are told that their job is to attend school and get good grades. The school is like one big family. I cannot recommend it more highly.
