We have had alot of experience with pool companies trying to sell us services, equipment or repairs we don't need for our 10 year old pool -Fed up with them, I try to do most of the work myself. Recently in 104 degree temps the pump motor just stopped. Thought my pump motor went out - (I don't try to fix pumps myself anymore) so it was Oh NO there's a few hundred $ out the window!
