My alternator gave out on me on the way to NJ. Luckily, I was only about 1/8 mile from Davis's Garage in Shoreham. Darryl, the owner, is all that you could hope for in a mechanic--friendly, honest, resourceful, and skillful. Shoreham's a town of only about 1,000 people, so he gets a bit of everything--lots of trucks, but some Subarus and Hondas, snowmobiles, ATVs, etc. I have an ancient Saab, which aren't common in that part of Vermont, but it still didn't throw Darryl. He found me a replacement part quickly and got me on my way. Best of
