I have never eaten Afghan food before- but I had the $8.00 lunch buffet and every single dish ( all but one a veggie dish) was deelish! I would definitely go back and even try to order from the menu- all reasonably priced options. It is elegantly decorated and staffed by polite servers. I had eggpalnt, pumpkin, spinach, chicken , salad, and Nan- bread- a yummy grain dish-or might have been lentils? and chickpeas.. Tyye have an awesome sauce like none I have ever had- yogurt, mint, jalapeno? -- not too spicy but unique. I am curious now about more afghan cuisine--
