I have been in the restaurant business for many years and in fact used to own one of the most popular "special occasion" restaurants in town. A term we hated because it indicated high prices. Amelia's offers a soothing warm atmosphere, attentive, knowledgeable service, nice location and fabulous food. As far as I am concerned everything you get at "special occasion" restaurants without the jaw dropping check.
