HAD AN INTERESTING SITUATION HAPPEN RECENTLY AT RONDOUT MARINA IN KINGSTON....BOAT WAS DONATED TO A CHARITY THAT HELPS CHILDREN. LARRY THE OWNER WANTED TO GET A 10% FEE OF ANY BOATS SOLD ON HIS PREMISES. AS THE BOAT WAS DONATED, THERE WAS NO SALE INVOLVED. HE FOUGHT FOR A FEE OF 10% OF THE VALUE OF THE BOAT, EVEN THOUGH IT WAS DONATED. THE OWNER WAS FURIOUS, AS THERE IS NO DOCUMENTATION IN ANY RENTAL AGREEMENT STATING THAT HE IS ENTITLED TO SUCH A FEE. HE THEN HAULED THE BOAT OUT WITHOUT PERMISSION AND ALLEGEDLY DID $1100 WORTH OF WORK TO IT. HE WOULD NOT LET BOAT BE REMOVE
