This place started up and never went anywhere and closed. The owner tried blaming it on Mount Vernon not being big enough for two florist, much less one. The Party Barn Florist has been in Mount Vernon forever and has always done well, so I guess their reasoning was wrong. The Party Barn has a large selection of "fresh" flowers in a floral cooler. Mount Vernon Floral didn't have either. They used a five gallon bucket with a few flowers in it for their floral selection. If you wanted roses they usually needed a two day advance notice to get the flowers. The girl that
