Adam P. Angeles M.D. is a Medical Director of Bend Plastic Surgery Dr. Angeles is a diplomat of the American Board of Plastic Surgery. He has trained in the United States and in Europe to learn the most advanced surgical and non-surgical techniques. He offers a full compliment of modern, state-of-the-art procedures, tailored individually for each patient. Dr. Angeles has taught at several internationally renowned universities, published in numerous surgery journals and lectured throughout the United States. To achieve the best results Dr. Angeles strives to match patients’ expectations to his skills. Bend Plastic Surgery is dedicated to providing the highest level of comprehensive cosmetic plastic surgical care that will allow patients to achieve their personal goals of a more attractive and youthful appearance. Prior to his medical training, Dr. Angeles received his undergraduate degree in general biology at the University of California, San Diego and during that time studied pulmonary physiology under microgravity for NASA. He then received his medical degree at the University of California, San Francisco School of Medicine where he also trained in general surgery. He was a National Institutes of Health Fellow for 2 years and studied the cellular basis of wound healing then traveled to The Netherlands where he worked at the Dutch Burns Foundation and developed dermal substitutes (artificial skin) for burn patients. He then returned to the United States to complete his Plastic & Reconstructive Fellowship in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania where he trained in breast and full body reconstruction, microsurgery, hand surgery, craniofacial surgery, burn surgery and also cosmetic surgery.
