Since granite for our house was a very large purchase I visited five granite companies in the area. I was amazed at the poor organization for nearly all of these companies. At three they were not able to give me an estimate during the visit even though I came with a scaled drawing. It appeared at each only one person could give an estimate and he was out on an installation. Most promised a fax estimate the next day but only two provided an estimate in less than a week.
