A relic from the 80's - even the decor seems frozen in time. You can still imagine where the old cigarette machine probably stood. But apparently, no one has told them it's 2011. Gone are the days of veal picatta with a side of spaghetti. I'm thrilled to see that Italian food has finally become more sophisticated - and most chefs understand it not a bout MORE, but LESS - and fresh. A simple caprese, for example.
