A few weeks ago our family experienced engine problems on our 2007 Pontoon with a Mercury 4 stroke engine. We had to tow our boat to Fays Marina in La Porte, Indiana to have it looked at. We found there was a major failure with the engine. Wade Barnes of Fays called Mercury to find out what could be done since our motor was two months out of warranty. Wade was able to get the parts covered, but not the labor, which was going to cost us $1000. My husband called Mercury Marine and spoke with a gentleman to see if he could get the labor covered too.
