Beware of scam-like practices! About 1 year into a 2 year time frame, I began being harassed by the office staff for extra money, outside of the $4500 charge I paid up front for my child's braces, for brackets that had come loose. Apparently, they have a policy they make you sign acknowledgment of that after 5, you will be charged $25 per "broken" bracket. Well I wasn't aware of this policy and when asked to see the paper I signed acknowledging this, they couldn't produce it...because I never saw it to sign it. I would never have agreed to this.
