Thirsty's has just opened (summer of 2009). I decided to try it, and it was a truly forgettable experience. Their menu is ordinary: only sandwiches and salads with no real dinner entre's to speak of. I had their steak salad - the best salad item on the menu. The greens were fresh and plentiful, the steak was about average, and there were some french fries in the salad (a typical Pittsburgh steak salad!). But for a steak salad, everything else was poor: almost no cheese or tomato, no hard boiled eggs, a couple of croutons, and salad dressing straight from the bottle.
