Our Mission At the office of Drs. Gordon and Wildon Wong, we are dedicated to providing quality products and service in an unhurried, caring environment. Our mission is to determine what your goals and expectations are, and exceed them. Our Staff - La Jolla The core of our friendly staff is made up of four individuals, each dedicated to meeting your needs. When first calling the office or walking through the door, you will meet Wendy, our Patient Coordinator. Not only will Wendy assist you in finding an appointment time that is convenient for your schedule, she will also help in utilizing any possible vision benefits that you may have. We accept most insurance plans, including Vision Service Plan (VSP), EyeMed, Medical Eye Services, Blue Shield PPO, HealthNet Vision, and Medicare. Although many people do not have vision coverage per se, their medical insurance can often be billed for the visit if a medical condition exists and is diagnosed during the eye exam. Wendy also heads up our optical boutique in La Jolla. Wendy brings over 10 years experience to our office. You will find that she has a limitless knowledge of optical lens designs and frame collections. Her forte seems to be the ability to chose just the right frame style for your face shape and skin tone. Torrea will coordinate and schedule your laser vision correction with the surgeons that we are associated with such as TLC Laser Eye Centers, the Shiley Eye Center at UCSD, and Gordon Binder Weiss Vision Institute. She will take care of all the details to insure that your Laser Vision Correction goes as smoothly as possible. Safety and results are the number one priority here at GW Eye Associates. Mike and Florencia are our optometric technicians. Their role is to assist Drs. Gordon and Wildon Wong during the office visit.
