Rockrose Development is an owner-builder-manager with a reputation for architectural excellence, sensitivity to neighborhoods, "creating community", and careful management of its projects. Founded in 1970, Rockrose first concentrated on the renovation of brownstone apartments in the Greenwich Village area of Manhattan. The company gradually broadened its scope to include new apartment construction, large-scale rehabilitation, and major office development. Rockrose has developed 10,000 units of residential space and has developed or acquired over 3 million square feet of office space. Many of Rockrose's projects have received favorable public review and design awards by Landmarks and other governmental agencies at the City, State, and Federal levels.
